Vivian Lan Agami is the director of the SingularityU Mexico Summit in Jalisco, an initiative to promote Mexico through collaboration, to build a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship. Currently gives international talks.
Innovation with social responsibility and the use of technology to help humanity are the main drivers of Vivian Lan, who besides studying graphic design at Mexico City, specializing in plastic arts in New York and being a Montessori guide, has always been involved in projects of social impact.
In 2013 she attended Singularity University at NASA, where she studied the use of exponential technologies, in order to integrate them into humanitarian work and apply them to change the world. After graduating Vivian became the ambassador of Singularity University in Mexico, in addition to serving as Director of Ecosystem of Innovation in the Presidency of the Republic and the Exponential Growth Director in ExO Works.
Currently Vivian gives international talks and is the director of the SingularityU Mexico Summit, an initiative to promote Mexico through collaboration, to build a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship.
With numerous conferences around the world during the last years I have contributed to generate a culture of innovation, a focus on the future and a progressive stance in multiple sectors.
Through conferences and workshops I have the opportunity not only to transmit knowledge, but to inspire different audiences and help them transform their environment, to have an exponential growth, to grow their businesses, to be proactive in the construction of the future, to precede adversities and change the world. With a training in design and art and with experience as a Montessori guide, I am convinced that education is the basis of any change and one of the greatest challenges for humanity in the 21st century.
With a training in design and art and with experience as a Montessori guide, I am convinced that education is the basis of any change and one of the greatest challenges for humanity in the 21st century. Throughout my professional life I have had the privilege of working with children in different continents, both in urban and marginal areas and I have learned that in a world of constant change, education is no longer an informative process and becomes a formative process to develop better human beings. Currently I collaborate in different educational projects within our country.
Through Singularity University we help companies and institutions to grow exponentially, to generate innovation and integrate technologies that allow them to scale.
Singularity University is an institution based at NASA Ames Research Park focused on using exponential growth technologies to solve the great challenges of humanity. After studying there topics of nanotechnology, robotics, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, neuroscience and 3D manufacturing among others, I became the ambassador of the university for Mexico and finally the General Director of the SingularityU Mexico Summit, through which we have reached more than 2,000 people in person, and virtually more than 100,000. We have generated more than $ 9 million dollars in new business and economic benefits for our country. Through Singularity University we help companies and institutions to grow exponentially, to generate innovation and integrate technologies that allow them to scale.

Innovation with social responsibility and the use of technology to help humanity are my main engines. After several years of working with marginalized communities in Mexico, Israel and Kenya, in 2011 I conducted a social media campaign to help famine in Africa caused by the drought. I gathered 100,000 USD in 10 days, gathered a group of 57 international volunteers and delivered 40 tons of food and medical assistance to 20,000 affected people. It was then that I discovered the importance of technology as a means of scalability to generate impact and improve the world and since then I have been involved in numerous transformation initiatives for Mexico. One of them was the realization of the first Oslo Freedom Forum in Mexico, an event whose objective is to begin the dialogue on the importance of democracy, human rights and freedom of expression in Latin America.
